Lydia Ochieng-Obbo

Lydia Proscovia Ochieng-Obbo is an accomplished lawyer with over 40 years of experience in business law, central banking, insurance brokerage, corporate governance, policy reform, and advocacy. She currently chairs the Uganda Law Society Healthcare and Benevolent Fund and has served on several major institutional boards in Uganda and the East African region.

Alan Lwetabe

Alan N. Lwetabe is an experienced investment executive with over a decade of expertise in finance, sovereign funds, pension advisory, and investment governance across East Africa. He serves as Vice Chairperson and Chair of the Finance and Investment Committee of the Uganda Law Society Healthcare and Benevolent Fund.

Dr. Elizabeth Ekochu

Dr. Elizabeth Ekochu is a medical doctor and public health specialist with over 35 years of experience in health systems strengthening at national, sub-national, and facility levels. She has provided leadership and consultancy support to major health programmes, including assignments with USAID-funded projects, the World Bank, and UNAIDS Uganda.

Dr. Barbara Kitui is a governance and public sector justice reform specialist with over 15 years of experience across public service, civil society, and private legal practice. She has served on several governance and legal sector boards and brings strong expertise in justice reform, institutional development, and legal scholarship.

Phillip Munaabi

Phillip Munaabi is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, Partner at Diadem Advocates, and Secretary of the Uganda Law Society. He is a founding member of the Uganda Law Society Healthcare and Benevolent Fund and has built strong expertise in sports law, arbitration, mediation, and sports administration across East Africa.

Mary Namale

Mary Namale is an insurance and actuarial expert with over a decade of experience in underwriting, treaty structuring, regulatory compliance, and actuarial analysis. As a member of the ULS-HBF Finance Committee, she supports pricing frameworks, benefit projections, fund performance, and sustainable fund management.
