How Membership Works

Be a Paid-Up ULS Member

You must be a paid-up Uganda Law Society member to be eligible for ULS HBF membership.

Complete HBF Registration

Complete the HBF membership registration form below. This will be integrated with the member portal.

Submit Required Documentation

Submit the required supporting documentation when applying for assistance through the Fund.

Please provide next of kin details. This allows a family member or representative to submit information on your behalf if necessary.

Upload ULS subscription receipts and/or practising certificates from 2024. Multiple files allowed. Max 5MB each. Formats: PDF, JPG, PNG

Note on ULS Subscription: If you have not paid ULS subscriptions due to illness, retirement, financial constraint, study abroad or incapacity to work, please contact the Uganda Law Society directly to seek guidance or a waiver in accordance with ULS guidelines. The ULS-HBF does not grant ULS subscription waivers. Waivers are handled exclusively by the Uganda Law Society.
